General Terms of Engagement

Thank you for selecting Your Personal Assistant for professional services. Following is our standard terms of engagement for providing our service and is in addition to and should be kept with any engagement letter that we may have with you as a client. Unless modified in writing by mutual agreement, these terms will be an integral part of our agreement with you. We would ask that you review these terms carefully and contact us promptly should you have any questions. We look forward to developing a close working relationship with you.

Our Responsibilities

We undertake to provide you with lifestyle and home management services that meets your needs and requirements on an on call basis at the cost agreed upon. Such services are to be provided with skill and care and within an agreed time frame. Additionally, we undertake to respond promptly to requests for urgent assistance.

Your Responsibilities

You undertake to provide timely, clear instructions and directions for the provisions of such services, to provide the information or the access to the appropriate information to enable the tasks to be completed, and to meet the agreed period for payment costs.

Instructions

Instructions can be either verbal, via email or fax.

Our Standards

Your affairs will be handled both professionally and with integrity. We will not receive any referral fee or payments from any businesses or services that we engage on your behalf.

Our Liability

All care will be taken in the course of our work but at times we are required to make value judgements in providing our service. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by you and any liability on our part for any negligence or wrongful act, including that of contractors or trades people arranged on your behalf by us, shall be limited to the value of the fee charges for our management service.

Confidentiality

Any information given to us that might reasonably be expected to be of a confidential nature, or that you inform us is confidential, will be treated as such. Information and materials given to us will be kept under conditions of normal office security.

Retention of Information

Your personal information will be held in confidence and will not be disclosed to other parties without your express permission and will not be retained if you so request at any time.

Transfer of Work

Should your Lifestyle Manager be unavailable due to sickness or leave, appropriate arrangements will be made with your complete approval and knowledge.

Termination

Our services can be terminated at anytime.
